The 3 Differences Between You And “Them”
Hi everyone! I hope this finds you well during the Christmas season. It’s that time of year when we go shopping for our loved ones, which can either be a good experience or a frustrating one. Depending on how your year has gone, you either have extra money or you don’t…which brings me to the point of my blog today.
Keys to Success
These alone are the difference between why some do very well for themselves and others seem to struggle, never really connecting the dots.
Key to Success #1 – Belief and Faith in Yourself & Mission
This may sound cliché, but the truth is that you CAN do anything that you set out to. Regardless of your financial situation, rolodex of contacts or any other perceived obstacles, there’s NOTHING holding you back other than your belief in yourself.
Whether you believe you can or cannot, you’re right.
BELIEF STARTS WITH YOU…No one else can change that.
Successful people are not any better than you, they weren’t born to be some “superpower” , but there’s a key difference….
They believed they could do it.
They fought on when they fell down.
They stayed consistent, and plowed on when things didn’t go their way.
The persevered through the good…and the bad times.
Don’t get me wrong, belief and ability (I’ll address that in a second) are two VERY different things.
If you don’t believe in yourself to do something, you’ll never be able to do it.
Further, you won’t achieve what you’re aspiring to unless you change that belief system and mental thought process.
Key to Success #2 – Understanding Your Ability and Know Where You’re Going.
If you don’t understand HOW you plan on getting something done, it’s time to invest in yourself.
Investing in yourself and continuing to learn is the single, BEST investment you can ever make.
It’s not a house, buying commodities, stocks or anything else. It’s investing in YOU.
Knowledge + ACTION = Power.
With the proper knowledge and understanding of how to craft together your marketing plan, you’re giving yourself the greatest power an entrepreneur can ever possess…
The ability to live life on your terms. Money + Time = Freedom
Sure you need to learn how to generate leads, create or promote offers and deliver your message – but it’s more about piecing the items together in a way that gets your audience to scream, “DUDE…I GOTTA HAVE WHAT YOU’RE OFFERING!”
When you understand the pieces of the puzzle and human psychology and triggering a response from your prospect that is mutually beneficial, it’s game over.
You now have the ability to create income on demand. You now harness the power (once you mix the 3rd component into the mix) to share your products and solutions with rest of the world and be compensated for your efforts.
Never stop growing. Work on Your Physical Health and Relationships.
Never stop learning. Spend 30 Minutes a Day on Personal Development or Knowledge Building Information
Never stop creating a more relevant you. Stay current with the new marketplace. The only constant is change.
Key to Success #3 – Intense Work Ethic.
There is no such thing as a get rich quick solution, but you’d be surprised how fast you can turn your life around.
Getting to where you want to be requires work. A lot of it.
Checking FB, Watching TV, Tweeting, and checking your email all day doesn’t count as “work”.
Creating offers, marketing, selling, ensuring fulfillment is taking place and other items that pertain to your bottom line – those are “work” items.
Focus on Producing Income Producing Activity.
Blogging, Video Marketing, Prospecting in Person, or Email Marketing are action items that put money in the bank.
It doesn’t mean you need to work 50+ hours a week, but building, maintaining and growing a business requires a massive action initially and consistency over time.
Your business will provide you exactly what you put into it.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Think of your business like your body. If you don’t feed yourself or drink water, you can’t sustain your health.
If nothing good ever enters your body and mind, how can you expect to perform at a high level?
The same is true for your business. If it just “exists” without putting effort into it, results won’t ever come out from it.
It’s when you combine all 3 of these components you become POWERFUL.
There’s nothing that can stop you from getting to where you want to be.
As 2013 comes to an end, I would invite you to evaluate each of the 3 above areas and how they relate to you.
What areas do you need to work on?
How can you be more productive?
How can you gain a better understanding of your marketing and what you’re putting together?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this blog post.
Let us know what changes you plan on making.
And don’t forget to LIKE and Share and all that good stuff!
All the best,
