- Damaged Phones – Don’t buy broken screens unless you can replace them which you probably can’t. Don’t buy beat up phones that have been dropped or scuffed up. That means they have dropped them a bunch and may have internal damage.
- Water Damage – Look under the battery and some phones have XXXX’s on a tab under them. If it is pink or smeared, stay away from it. The tab should be white or the X’s should be prominent.
- Replica Phones – There are some phones that look JUST like Galaxy s3 or similar phones. Take off the battery and inspect it for good quality and logos. Also check the Model number within the “About Phone” section of the device.
